Sam’s first steps were as a copywriter at Case & McGrath Advertising followed by Dancer, Fitzgerald, Sample & Grey Advertising. Sam gained his marketing and communications expertise while teaming up with some of the most renowned professionals in the industry to work on some of the world’s most prestigious brands.

In addition to leading thePOWERco., Sam has been teaching at Sacred Heart University since 1998. Here, Sam gets the latest insights about WHO the incoming demographic is and HOW they interact. Sam’s expertise is in marketing strategies, unique positioning, and integrated communications.

Richard Guha

Richard has over 45 years of experience in Marketing, General Management, Finance, and Operations. He has advised about one third of the Fortune 500. He sits on a number of Boards and is currently Entrepreneur in Residence at Sacred Heart University. Richard joined Procter & Gamble, in Marketing, before moving to Mars, Inc., in several international positions. He then went into Strategy consulting at Marketing Corporation of America, where he worked largely for F500 companies in Consumer and B2B.

He re-entered corporate life as Chief Marketing Officer of US West. He has been the SVP Marketing and Business Development of Remedy/BMC enterprise software, and President of Reliant Energy, a Fortune 100 company. Richard has also been involved in over 2,000 startups since 1992. His roles have included founder, CEO, investor, board member and mentor. He has lived in ten countries on four continents.

Ruth P. Stevens
eMarketing Strategy

Ruth P. Stevens is the President of eMarketing Strategy where she consults on customer acquisition and retention, specializing in B2B markets. She advises companies on go-to-market strategy, sales lead generation, customer and prospect data, content marketing and ABM. Crain’s BtoB magazine named Ruth one of the 100 Most Influential People in Business Marketing. Ruth also teaches marketing at business schools in the U.S. and abroad.

Ruth is a guest blogger at Biznology, CustomerThink and Business 2 Community, and a contributing writer at AdAge.  Her newest book is B2B Data-Driven Marketing: Sources, Uses, Results. Ben has 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship and marketing. He has worked as a sole contractor and a leader of teams with more than 15 members, creating and leading the budget and marketing plans. He has been blessed to win 9 marketing awards and many national Public Relations opportunities; most notably an appearance in on the front page of The New York Times.

Ben has benefitted from the guidance of talented mentors while serving on four different marketing boards and was also honored to be the President of the Phoenix chapter of the American Marketing Association. He is a goal-oriented, data-driven businessman who welcomes any challenge.
